Gallianne Kitchen Abstract
During a bad thunderstorm a large tree fell on the home of Ashley and Matt Gallianne in their Stradford Hills neighborhood. After the damage was fixed and her kitchen was put back together, Ashley contacted me for help with a bare wall that needed art. I first measured the wall and put a tape block of 48x36” up. It was too big and just didn’t look quite right. Next I measured 3 blocks and put them up. Much better!
Ashley loved the colors I had used in some previous paintings and asked I use a similar color palette for her. Off to my studio!
Photos do not capture the texture I love to create in these paintings. I take lots of detail and closeups to show this off.
The finished paintings back in her kitchen. They brought the perfect color in and brightened up the room so much!
More details of the paintings. Gold leaf peaks out through the oil paint and I have even wrapped it around the edges of the painting so framing is not necessary.
The paintings overlook the kitchen table into the rest of the fresh cheerful kitchen area.
Ashley’s husband later hung the paintings up on the wall.
She sent me the finished photo with the nicest message! Best part of my job is creating pieces for people to make them smile and love their home. Thank you Ashley for this commission!
